We did the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All-Inclusive Golf & Spa resort in March. Highly recommend. No issues, nice resort. None of the issues you speak of.

Montañita Ecuador is beautiful, the galapagos are near by amazing snorkeling, and very few groids

There aren't beach resorts in the U.S.? Not my thing, just curious. Personally I hate the ocean.

St.Augustine has nice beaches and some interesting history.
But it's in Florida so it might not be white enough.

Cabo beaches suck compared to the Caribbean side of Mexico. If you prefer to stay in the Yucatan area of Mexico, I suggest Tulum, just south of Cancun. Fly into Cancun and then shuttle down to Tulum, which is an an hour or so. Beautiful beaches, not as crowded and much less touristy than Cancun or Playa.

If it were me though, I'd skip Mexico all together and hit Belize(not Belize City) or Costa Rica(Liberia). Also, check out Roatan...place is incredible. All are waayyy better than any place in Mexico.

Not my cup of tea, but we had family stay at Barcelo Maya that came down with us while we rented a house on the beach just north of Tulum. They had to have all-includive and seemed to like it pretty good. Other times we've just rented condos from Americans on the south end of Tulum.

Grand Strand SC ... beatches.

Better than any greaser beach on this planet .... except maybe the Mediterranean coast of Italy.

Fact.

[bleep] Mexico.
