Did you see the press conference afterwards where an iranian journalist asked a US player what it was like playing for a racist country like the US? I would give a crap about the comments of an Iranian journalist. It would be a good opportunity to gloat about our victory. Should have replied "Awesome". How is that freedom of religion working out in your country?

Agreeing with earlier comments about the mediocrity so far. Excellent talent and some very good skills; defense fairly well organized; here and there a flash of strong offense; do not know how -or care - to sustain strong pressure on the other team's defense; am thinking it is a coaching problem in large part. Hoping for the best, but seems bleak. Maybe they will get it together.
