OP 10gaugemag Campfire Outfitter 1 Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 13,783 Missouri	Typical screw length for front and rear of standard bases, Remington 700?? I have the screw that came out but I am not certain they were the correct length. The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!

navlav8r Campfire Outfitter N Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 12,423 ms	IIRC, the front and rear screws are different lengths. If a screw binds the bolt, it’s in the wrong hole. NRA Life,Endowment,Patron or Benefactor since '72.
