I've grumbled to Midway's Customer Service on a couple of occasions, regarding their lengthy shipping times and/or lousy packaging. I made two orders on Black Friday weekend. I took advantage of their sale on factory seconds bullets and free shipping. Both boxes came today, which is pretty fast compared to their free shipping performances I've experienced in the past. And, both packages were double-boxed, with the outside box being a USPS Flat Rate Box. Well done, MidwayUSA! THIS is how you do it!
Thoroughly enjoying Alaska since 2001.

I've ordered a few things from them recently and shipments have gone out day after I placed the order. No complaints here.

I had to return a rail once that had the crap beat out of it because they shipped it in a plastic envelope, other than that, never and issue. They replaced the rail and shipped it in a box.

I only have good things to say about Midway. If they have what I want, I know it will be fairly priced and zero problems with my orders.

That was just a free “torture test.” I’ve never had a bad experience with them other than slow shipping speeds at times. They don’t seem to have transitioned to well from the old mail order business model to the newer Amazon two days to your door model.

I buy from MidwayUSA quite a bit, even willing to pay a few bucks more when I need something in a hurry.
It's not uncommon that I get next day delivery on items but, to be fair, they're only 2 hours away from me.

Last two orders in the last month had broken bullet and brass boxes inside. Lapua hard plastic boxes, with loose filling. Outside box was broken on one. I haven’t counted projectiles, but wouldn’t be surprised if some are missing.

How did you get them to ship free? I was going to take advantage of the free shipping deal as well. During checkout it wanted to charge me for shipping, even though the items I had in the cart were clearly marked as qualifying for free shipping. Opened a chat with someone named Madison, she said they would charge to ship based on my location. I asked why not ship usps flat rate, she didn't have a good answer. I then wrote an email to customer service and basically got the same response. I moved on.

I order from them on occasion and have only had one bad experience. I only buy there when Natchez or other online retailers don't have what I need or when Midway has a good closeout.

Good, probably because I've called them out a few times and got responses from cs. I ordered some 22 bricks and they were placed in the big box loosely, opened up during shipping, I had 22 shells coming out of the sides, some even stuck in the packing tape. They asked me to count all the 22s and see how many I was missing.....crazy.

I just ordered 2500 6.5mm bullets. Free shipping on 48 pounds. I did an estimate and shipping was 60.00. Ordered Friday, and they were here Tuesday.

Never had issue with them. No shipping issues either but I don't ever order anything that's an emergency so if it takes 3 days instead of 2 - meh.

And steals ice cream from kids… And kicks dogs….. This Boomer has never bitched about Larry. I buy based on shipped priced. Sometimes Larry’s the guy, sometimes he ain’t. It pays to shop around, and also to check the estimated shipping. He is better than most about sending out product-availability notifications while he actually still has the stuff.
What fresh Hell is this?
