I just bought 10 boxes of 50 of 9mm Remington Range Ammo. It is just regular ball ammo from what I can see and it was cheap. $150.00 shipped
Is there anything wrong with it or is it sub par?
I was warned, but I am here anyway.

The Remington ball ammo I have shot worked just fine.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Just a name that Remington marketing chose for it, I haven't found it to be inferior in any way.

It's not subpar, but is there something wrong with it? We can't tell (here) for obvious reasons, but generally speaking, so long as they don't have apocalyptic crust seeping from the primer pockets or the neck...you should be good to go.

Historically Remington 9mm 115gr ball was underpowered compared to Federal and Winchester "white box". 9mm pistols cycled it OK. But it had a bad reputation among NFA shooters due to failures to cycle, and even runaways with open bolt guns. This was between 10 and 20 years ago. Don't know if recent lots are "hotter".

It's probably fine for practice/plinking at the range. What firearm are you planning to use it in?

That's the normal procedure. Not here it's not...not necessarily. More like nearly not at all. $.30 a pop is kinda my go for it price. I really prefer when possible to get the Blaser al-U-minny-um stuff because I have a hard time leaving even really cheap brass cases on the ground.
