Some of you may have read of my personal plights and having to sell off guns to survive in my trials with divorce. I'd like to publicly thank the incredible folks here on this site that upon hearing of my plight, held my guns for me until I could afford to buy them back. Those folks were DAVIDW and DAVEh. I will use their campfire site handles in order to preserve their privacy. Also, I'd like to thank the others here on this site that chimed in to help me out and provide me support in a time of need. It restored my faith in many ways. And, to those folks that might be new here; this site has some of the highest quality people that exist. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My gun cabinet is steadily building up to be it's best ever.

I have dealt and corresponded with Daveh quite a bit and you are right in that he is A#1. I am sure the other Dave is as well.
Seattle area, eh? A few folks from that region will be headed down this way in April or May to wreak havoc on some rodents. A great way to ventthe pain maybe?
I trust that more than your gun cabinet are recovering from the pain.

That speaks a great deal about 95% of the folks on this site. We really have a gem here folks. There are many others here that I could thank as well that have given me support in other ways too. The overall quality of the people on this site is amazing. I feel lucky that I stumbled upon them.

I found the campfire one day at work casually looking for some sort of Savage Arms Collectors Association. Something like the Winchester Arms Collectors. I landed here and am primarily on the Savage collectors forum but have frequented other areas of this site. I have only put 1,countem, ONE on my ignore list. I can't believe such a group of people can gather on the internet and build such lasting friendships. This place is great, because the people that are here make it that way, and this story is a PERFECT example of the point I am making.
