Before long, paper money will be outlawed. At that point, all money will be digital and every transaction will be monitored. And you can bet if you are spending your money on the "wrong" things that you will come under investigation and audit!
The govt is already tracking Venmo, Zelle, Cash app, PayPal, etc and any transaction over $600 will have to reported on your taxes if it can in any way be considered income for the receiver
