Hi Guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has used this bullet for hunting and whether they had any pet loads they were willing to share. I got a great deal on them and bought 500 given it is hard to find gear at times. Figure that should keep me going for a little bit ;-)
Thanks in advance LowBC
P.S 300WM is pretty new to me, but so far really like what I am seeing.
Experience is something you get, just after you needed it.

Nosler data on a Hornady bullet. Ok..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Nosler data on a Hornady bullet. Ok.. He said get you "in the ball park" and that it will do for sure.
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

I’ve had my best loads with ELD-X’s using the Nosler load data using the same weight class of bullet. Start low and work up.

I can only speak to the 175 LRX in a 300WM. First load was with 73gr R23 (killed a cow with that one) and a couple weeks ago I found a great load with Ramshot Magnum/Fed 215M Primer/RWS new cases. I started at 85gr and stopped at 87gr. Every charge shot under one inch in my rifle. Good luck to you.

I have used that bullet this year. November the 4th to be exact. 300 Winchester Remington 700 ADL Load was using IMR 7383....THIS IS A MILITARY PULL DOWN POWDER. Brass NORMA once fired and annealed with a candle. 63 grains velocity was 2972 avg when I developed it in October of this year. a tight little ball of 1 1/2" at 200 yards on my steel target.
Broadside shot at 127 yards. It hit a rib on the edge going in and just demolished the lungs and a section of the heart. The opposite side had a 2 1/2" hole in it with some shrapnel around it.
Buck did a death run of 40 yards.
Same load used on a big gobbler turkey...worked great. at 112 yards.

Absolutely. Start at minimum and work up. That said 74-76 of RL22 or H4831 or 71 gr or IMR 4350 have always worked for me. My buddy shot a WY 6x6 elk this October using said bullets from his Browning 300 Win mag. Shot was less than 100 yards. Never took a step!
