I didn't put in for the K-town road system goat draw this year. Just turned 60 - I think I'm out of that game for good.
I'm guessing he got worse on the CG end of things and that led to the unusually soft sentencing.
I'm putting in for goat like I do every year. Haven't drawn it in the 16 years I've applied. Chasing them either here or elsewhere this season....just be nice to get the easy ones I see while cutting firewood.

He should have gotten jail time, a HUGE fine, forfeit his rifle and vehicle, and lose his license to hunt and fish for 10 years. Correct on there being no deterrent there.
If anyone takes umbrage at the outcome of the case, they should feel free to call the Ketchikan District Attorney's office at (907) 225-6128 and discuss the importance of wildlife crime consequences.

That's exactly what I would like to see. It's one thing to go easy on some Sourdough tipping over a Moose out of season to feed his family, but this just disgusted me.
