JB….Surely you understand that the Budapest Memorandum contained certain reassurances in return for getting rid of their nuclear arsenal? The Memorandum DOES require the signatories to perform specific functions while abstaining from certain actions. One of the actions that is clearly specified is…

It’s not any intellectual stretch to clearly see who broke the agreement and who antagonized who….the USA quite publicly bragged about the economic coercion that the Obongo administration had over Ukraine’s government and institutions. As the USA pushed harder and broke more and more of the agreement it gave POS Putin an excuse to retaliate.
Unfortunately people, including many here, look at the SMO in Ukraine as being started by Russia back in February unprovoked.
