I love the ks more than most, but at 2k I’d be looking for a BFC.
I was thinking $1500 (ish) but you may be correct. Only ks I’ve seen go over 2k was a stainless 280 over a year ago. This warms my heart as I have same rifle with a little enhancement from bedding by Alex Sitman, fluting and bolt handle skeletonizing by Karl and painted by Darrenk. Oh yeah, aftermarket trigger that is incredible and the manufacturer esacapes Me. It’s an incredible rifle…
Regards, Nick- Georgia

Other bidder had something over your $1700.
He may have had $2k max bid in there and if you stopped at $1700 he may have got the rifle for $1725. Yes, likely, but the system automatically ups it to $1725. What’s strange on this is it did not, and it shows two bidders at $1700 and ending price at $1700. Likely a computer glitch but I’ve not seen it before.

I can't login right now to see bid details. However, if two bidders both bid $1700 early on in the auction then the first bidder to do so would get priority.

I bought a Benelli M1 super 90 this summer on gunbroker. Placed a bid for $700. Another bidder stopped at $575 so that’s what I paid. Hell of a deal and I was thrilled lol

Rifle basix?

GB notifies the later bidder that they aren’t “successful.” But you are correct, it will “let you” so poor wording on my part.

My 18" M7 with Brown Kevlar Pound'r stock weighs 5lbs.4oz. without scope/rings/mounts. Same as my Taconic 98 Titanium 22" Mauser. A little lighter than my new Kimber Desolve Blak.

I just picked up a Model Seven LS in .308. Now the search is on for a KS stock.

The rifle in the OP would seem to be rather difficult to use those irons on or is it just the picture? Not a lot of drop on that stock.
COngrats on the find Miquel. Hope you find a stock.

Oh and just a quick glance showed Edge stocks in mountain rifle, sporter and classic all inlet for Model 7 on the McMillan site. Be worth a call if you wanted a McMillan, they seem to have them.

I think the irons are there mostly to add weight to the front end of the rifle and help it balance better. That's why original Mannlicher-Schoenauer carbines have full-length stocks and steel nose caps.
Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

How about the Remington model 7 SS in the H&S stock? Those were nice.

I'd buy a KS in 35 Remington.
