I own a 1100LW with 26 inch Imp Cyl barrel. Not having any luck finding any replacement barrels, or adult sized stocks Upgrading this one because all the kids and grandkids have out grown it. And I want to use it more. Can any one share any leads to where I might find replacements? I'd like to have barrel modified to accept screw in choke tubes, but I know nothing about what size it has to be, of if possibly it'd be less expensive to buy a new barrel already done..or if that's even a possibility. I've done some research, and it seems I might just be sol.. and just need to sell it and buy a new shotgun. Thoughts? Ideas?? Thanks !

LT-20 stocks will fit, 28 and 410 1100 stocks will also fit. There are no factory installed screw choked LW-20 barrels. They were made before Remington started installing Remchokes. It is possible to modify LT-20 barrels to work, but it is a lot of work. Briley is the place to go for screw choke installation. Briley 20 gauge choke installation.

e-bay and gun broker will have everything you need but you will need to watch for them, trapshooters.com also has LT 20 bore wood on occasion as dose shotgunworld.com
The campfire is 99% rifle stuff, you will have better luck elsewhere on more shotgun drives sites.
Not sure what you want with a barrel other than a Rem choke barrel but Remington made millions of them, not sure what mag410 is referring to. What is a factory installed barrel?
For what Briley will charge you to choke you can buy a NIB rem choke barrel on flea-bay, 350 ish, give or take.

Pretty much covers anything I want to do.

The OP says he has a 1100 LW 20 gauge. Remington's first version of the small frame 20 gauge 1100 was called the LW-20. It it had a short tang/barrel extension like the Remington 870. The LW-20's were made from 1970-1977. All were made with fixed choke barrels. In 1978 Remington introduced the improved 1100 LT-20 which has the long tang/barrel extension. Up until 1987 all of the LT-20 barrels were fixed choke. Remchokes were introduced in 1987.

Correct sir, it's a short tang barrel..which seems to be kinda hard to locate.
Found a few on-line used....pretty pricey for the condition they are in.. if the 20LT adult sized butt stock will indeed fit the LW frame, then I think in in business. I'm planning to contact Briley Monday about reaming barrel for tubes.
Thanks all...
