Man, that's hard to believe. In 1986 the douche bag game wardens checked me and a buddy at least 5 times a day. They also followed us into a ranch that I had written permission to hunt to tell me that there weren't any antelope on the ranch and that I couldn't hunt there.
When I told them that they were harassing us because we were non-resident hunters they laughed and said they could check us as many times a day as they wanted to. They stopped laughing and checking us when I pulled out my Federal badge. Total ass-holes!
I found out from the clerk at the Virginian Hotel that one of the game wardens was hunting a B&C antelope on that ranch.
I'm glad the poachers were caught, seems like they did what they wanted to fir years, not s good look for Wyoming Game Wardens!
