Looking to spend $500 to $600 on spotting scope. Maybe a little more if necessary. Whats best I could get for my money? Also if have any recommendation on tripod let’s hear it. Thanks

Save more money and buy a used Swarovski, Leica, Ziess or meopta.

Maybe call Doug at Cameraland about the Athlon OpticsAres 15-45x65 UHD. He has some tripod specials too.

Had these side by side many times with my Meopta S2. Everyone agreed with the spotter I wound up keeping....Meopta S2.

Sportsman's has been selling the Gen 1 20-60x85mm spotters for $799. A little over the OP's budget but probably worth the extra $.

Maven sells direct so typically you get a bit better optic.

I have 4 of their rifle scopes and the big 80mm spotter.

Looks like the 65mm spotter is in your price range.
