Brother and I called in one with three legs. One hind leg was missing about 8”. Was it shot off, caught in a trap or….. Couldn’t tell. But the stump was healed and the coyote was healthy and ran plenty fast.

I have shot a big bunch over nearly 50 years and thought I’d seen all but this is a first.

Same here. The stump was long time healed. Amazing how they can survive.

Also shot one onetime that had a snare imbedded around it's neck. Must have been there a long time. Coyotes never cease to amaze me.

oh great, next thing you know they'll be climbing tree's, opening backyard gates, using forks and texting their buddies where our stands are!

So...you know your rifle shoots flat out to that distance now! laugh

Hint: I shot a whitetail at 12 feet one day with a .22-250...it was still shooting flat wayyyy out there! grin

I'm wondering if that isn't the result of an old injury, trap or evn possibly a botched snare catch? Don't matter now..he DED.

Had a house cat once that had 2 or 3 extra toes on both front feet.

Can’t tell if that’s an old injury or mom and dad were brother and sister; aka a genetic defect.
