I'm looking to replace a rifle I just sold. I'm looking to replace it with another .280 Remington but since nobody in a rifle I'm interested in buying chambers for the plain .280 Rem, I'm going to go thr Ackley Improved version. At least I can shoot it as a .280 Rem for a while and then hot rod it in the fire formed brass.
Anyway, looking at the savage 110 storm. Any experience? All my savages shoot amazing and this will be a do-it all rifle. The accu stock, fit and trigger are all good. I'm a little bigger guy at 6'4" 225 so the adjustment is necessary I feel.
I'm also considering the high country but fail to see any improvement on that model that's worth the extra $250...
