Just took delivery of a new Athlon Helos 2x12. Looked it over. Looks good. Got it focused nicely. Put the battery in. Really think I'm going to like the reticle. Lift the elevation cap, and turn in a couple mils of elevation. Nice audible and tactile clicks. Drop back down to zero and it goes one click past zero and then basically just slides through about .9 mils with barely any tactile and no audible. Almost like a really loose friction adjustment. Then the tactile and audible clicks start again. Reverse direction and it does the same thing in the same location going back up to zero. Assuming that isn't normal. Ideas?
Windage turret works just as I would expect.

You must be doing something wrong. Those things are made in China and it doesn't get any better than that, just ask the campfires resident optics expert.

The main mistake he made was posting about trouble with a PRC product here. Talk about your low-hanging fruit! Agree that Doug will make it all better and spare him the heartache of dealing with the manufacturer……., er marketing outfit.
What fresh Hell is this?

Don't let Bigs Dick find out one of his favorite hint-gasm makers is flawed.
History repeats itself because it worked. If it didn’t work in the first place, it wouldn’t be history but another lost story of insignificance.

Yep, she dead. Mental illness. When she did the porn it was downhill from there.
Talking to you is like trying to nail jello to the wall.
