No need for couplings or other fittings- - - -just hammer swage the tubing for a slip fit at the joint, and silver solder the connections. HVAC techs do it all the time.
Ignorance can be fixed. Stupid is forever!

Can remember back in the olden days in the oil patch, watching the instrument fitters/pipe fitters "draw" soft copper tubing by clamping one end in a big vise and stretching the tubing with the other end attached to a chain fall or chain come-along. This hardened the copper and stopped the kinks in the bends.

Thanks for the advise
The Hard water thing may be an issue as my water is going to come from a Well on my property. Minerals may be a factor.
I was thinking Type L because it is heavier than the M but with the build up situation that I was not thinking about. It may be a better way to go.
I am a Welder and an Inspector. I have picked up a bunch of Knowledge and scrap Silver Solder over the years and have even purchase some maybe 15+ years ago.
I have been successful Soldering Copper with water in the pipe several times so I think that Silver Soldering dry never used pipe should not be an issue for me.
I already have the fittings for the switch back manifold that I am planing on making. This design will allow me to drain the system if I ever need to. Inlet water in from the bottom and outlet out from the top with some valves to purge the line when filling and to drain if needed.
My main Concern is the Pressure that will build up while heating and with a good sized bladder expansion tank I hope that I will be OK.
The Solar Water Heating on line seminar I took was an eye opener with everything required for a safe system.
Expansion Tanks , Blow Off Valves , By Pass Valves as well as a bunch of other stuff. All of this will be pretty much the same for the wood/oil heating system.
Thanks again for all of the help
