Looking to sell my Rem. Model 7 XCR 7mm/08 with Burris 2-7X Fullfield II scope in DNZ mounts. Bought this little darling new in 2007. Mounted the scope and took it to the range. Fired 20 rounds thru it and it has been sitting in my gun safe ever since. Excellent, like new condition. Should go to someone who can use it. Only straight wall and slug guns allowed in the part of MD. I hunt. $1175 shipped my FFL to yours in lower 47, no Cal. Not interested in any trades.

There are a lot more ½" rifles than ½" shooters.

Same here.
I once thought about trying to have one of the barrel makers reproduce the barrels of the 7 XCR’s, but I’m not sure it would be worth it. I will say the two I’ve shot did not have the 3-4 round overheating/impact change that my pencil barreled Model 7’s seem to have.

This rifle in a Brown Pounder or McM Model 7 KS stock would be about the perfect rifle in my opinion. It would cause me to neglect pretty much every other one in the safe.

I agree, but there just something right about a Model 7.

Not a model 7 guy but this might have been my cherry if I had seen it a minute sooner.
These were 20” barrels?

What I'm interested in is, posted 3 hours ago, an I'll take it 3 hours ago. How long did it actually take? Lol!
