This is what's on mine. It's a Surefire. Been on it for several years. I like it. Might be brighter than what you're looking for, though. These things should have brightness settings.
I’ll second this, it’s very bright and is built to withstand use. A weapon light absolutely should be as bright as can be made. You’ll be pointing a gun at everything the light shines on, be sure of you target.
The Surefire in that test failed in a way that wouldn't have happened had it been mounted, i.e., the battery door opened when dropped. When mounted, as they said, it could not have happened.

I just posted the video Cause I found it interesting that a $130 Streamlight made it through on pretty equal ground with the Surefire. And I own about 5 Surefire lights, more Streamlights and a couple of Arisaka’s with Malkoff heads. There are lots of great lights available these days.
