Sorry about that, Geno. Just fact-finding. 🤣

I was happy to find a real ham, not one of them sissy spiral sliced ones, for $1.78/lb.

Don't know what I'd do if I found a rib roast for under $6. Probably whoop and holler!

$4.99/lb for select, $6.99/lb for choice at Lucky’s for us UT boys. They had em all in the end display here right next to each other. There’s gotta be some crossover in grading as I pulled 20# of the select ones out that were better marbled than most of the choice grade.

Christmas dinner is set.

None around these parts either. I did get 40 lbs of fresh 80/20 ground for $2.49 a pound a few days ago and 10 lb of bacon for $3.49. #Livinlarge

I can only eat half of a tomato on a sandwich but I grow 100-150 plants. And can up, store, freeze, etc.

We have 9 freezers and 3 fridges.

And yeah we do cook up a lot, extended family lives on the farm, my dad lives 2 miles away, cousins, inlaws, and I have 3 grown kids.

Those smoked picnics are running 40-50$ each now. Absurd.

We cook one and reduce it to freezer baggies and make a weekly pot of soup, or beans and dump 4-6 ounces of cooked juices, and meat into it. Can get quite a bit of meals from one picnic shoulder.

Two center cut on the same tray. Fourteen pound max for the $4.97 price.

Can’t tell because of the wrap, but very nicely marbled and the lifter is thick and goes all the way across the roast.

Same for this side.

13.91 lbs. I’m the cook for the friends and family gathering on Christmas Eve and I always make sure there’s enough for two more meals. I think prime rib is actually better the next day.

Got a couple more at $5.47/lb, again from WINCO. It's a good feeling.
