Homemade eggnog. Spiced rum and sherry. Turned out great.
Agree with the OP that Benchmark is a solid buy for inexpensive bourbon and best mixer you can buy. On the tour at Buffalo Trace they said Benchmark is the same recipe as BT but doesn’t match for flavor so it gets bottled as Benchmark.

On the tour at Buffalo Trace they said Benchmark is the same recipe as BT but doesn’t match for flavor so it gets bottled as Benchmark. Benchmark is also bottled at 80 proof instead of the 90 proof of Buffalo Trace. So, it tastes a little more "watered down". Kinda like you put a couple rocks in a glass of Buffalo Trace and they melted.
