I'm glad to see that people are still using my camo sponge painting technique.
I actually developed that technique years ago and posted a detailed tutorial on how to do it. It got pretty popular, and I've even seen some commercial gun or stock manufacturers use it.
Never could have made any money off the idea, but I'm still glad to see it's still being used quite a bit.
I've refined and added to the technique, but I still do some rifle like that.
Before the camo sponge technique, I painted a shadow pattern camo on stocks. It was okay too.
