I am getting ready to start load development for the .375 Ruger and looking for other's experiences before I start. I have Nosler 260 grainers and Swift A-Frame 300's with Hornady brass to work with and most powders. The 260's will be the most useful and most used.
Any start-up guidance would be appreciated.

My Ruger rifle loves the 300 gr. Swift with H4350. Also had good luck with Reloader 15 and Nosler 260’s.

I use 275 gr. Barnes TSX and Winchester 760. It's performed well for me. See if you can find a load cross reference for your bullets.

Happy with IMR-4350 behind 270gr Speer and Hornady, 285 gr Speer, 300 gr Accubond, Partition, Hornady, and old-style Win STs. Some lot to lot variation: getting over 2500 fps from the GG 20" bbl takes 78 gr with one lot, just 76.5 gr with another.
I've tried H-380 and IMR-4064 and got sticky lift at unimpressive velocity.
Also, there's little data for IMR-4831, but I've been very happy with it behind those bullets. I start with my safe IMR-4350 charges and work up. Usually takes 1.5-2.5 gr more to equal IMR-4350 velocities. More compressed, but no creep.
In a different powder availability world, might buy RL17 or H4350 and call it good.

I have some 375 caliber soft noses and some solids That I’d be willing to sell. Pm me if interested and I’ll check to see what I’ve got.

Rolly, thanks but I have more .375 bullets of many weights and flavors I can ever hope to use.
It's looking like H4350 is going to be the powder I start with and since it is my go-to for the 30 06, would be nice that it works out to be the one.

Dunno about .375 Swifts, but the 9.3 Swifts look EXACTLY the same. Like maybe they just swaged the same bullet down to 9.3. They are amazing moose bullets. Even at 500 yds, they expand at 1500-1600 fps, and penetrate an entire bull moose quartering away shot: Entrance wound, hit low and down-ward (I was up on a hill). Plowed through brisket Ended up in the forearm, you can see the barely expanded bullet:

These pics make me smile. I have a good supply of 300 grain .375 Swift A-frames as well as Nosler partitions. Also have the Noslers in 260 grain partitions and accubonds. Can't wait to start loading. .375 Ruger brass is hard to come by so if anyone knows a source, please chime in.
