Unrelated to New Years I decided to drop a few pounds to help my knee. Not much of a dieter LOL. More a steak and potato guy. Occasional chocolate eater, sometimes a donut. Otherwise not much for sweets, no cakes, pies, etc.

After talking to doctor, I decided to stop my one soda a day caffeine fix to help with joint inflammation and otherwise eat exactly the same thing, but only half as much. Seriously. Down 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Goal is high school weight of 190 from 223.

Not a big deal so far.

This year? Not a chance.

Next year? Always hope.

I say that I’m going to every year… I’ve done pretty well with not gaining any weight over the last several years but haven’t lost any.

You should question what you think you know.

Yeah the urge to watch a retard in full bloom gets the best of me on occasion. I need to work on that.

Down a few pounds over the last couple weeks with watching what I eat and an active lifestyle.

Going to kick it in after the first of the year, with workout and more attention to what I eat. Should still have 20 or so to go at that point.

Graduated high school at 165. Made it down to 170 a couple years ago but looked gaunt. 180 seems about right, but should be lighter for racing season.

How about you devide your ambitions between being less of a Khhunt along with losing a few pounds?

I'm down to 172 from 184 a few months ago. But I'm no where near as big of a snatch as you.

Down 14 in a couple months. Getting a jump on the year. I had terrible sciatic back pain and wasn’t able to exercise much. Lost muscle and gained weight because of it plus my wife likes to bake as well as is a great cook.
I got a shot of cortisone and I felt good enough to exercise again. Started doing squats and pushups to help strengthen core muscle. Feeling good until the cortisone wears off.

Me. I weighed 311 a few years ago. Down to 210 as of last week. Not a lot of exercise. Mostly eating better and becoming a foodie. I love to cook. I really think that cutting down sodas and eating better food did most of the work.

I got ran over by a dozer at the dump couple weeks ago, lost an eye now I have to wear an eye patch. Anyhow if I were 100lbs lighter I wouldn’t have gotten ran over. So I applied for a membership at the Grizzly gym. I’m going to get back in shape. Nugget

20lbs. to loose for me. All I have to do is to cut out the Beer and JD Shooters, it will be a struggle, since I love both more than life itself! lol

Stepped on the scale a week ago and was the heaviest I ever was. Deer season has ended and waiting for ice fishing season so not getting as much exercise. Cut back on the booze and watch what I eat. Got to lose 14 pounds.

Pretty simple concept... weigh is calories in vs calories out ( calories burnt)

Most I've ever weighed was 25 pounds more than I did when I graduated High School.
Lord know how many guys I had to council on their weight and losing it when I was in the service. ( Medical corps).

Just using your head and applying a little discipline.
