Finally got my suppressor in hand after the long wait.
I've got a box of 190gr sub-x bullets and hodgdon lists subsonic data for H322 and H4895.
I have zero experience loading subsonic yet, but those powders seem like they would have such low case fill?
Has anyone tried either of those loads?
If I can find trailboss somewhere I'll snatch up a bottle, but I do have some H322 on hand

I cannot make any recommendations, as I have not had the best of results as I was working with a 1:12 tube. Except that the chronograph will be your friend. Especially if you are at altitude. Will be interested in the opinions and advice given here.

I have thought about it and had a friend who purchased some subsonic .308 rounds, but where I landed is that it just wasn't worth it.
Shoot it with supers and be happy. If you just have to have a subsonic .30 cal, get a Blackout and save yourself the trouble of having to find something to fill the case with.

I've had the best luck with Trail Boss and I made some H110 work as well. Accuracy at 100 was around 3 MOA and it took 3 mrad of vertical correction. I was able to make hits with it out to 300 yards, but it was overall pretty anemic.
It was mostly useful within 50 yards and worked great for varmint control. I've since moved on to H110.

H4985 is one of the all-time classics for reduced loads. I'd trust Hodgdon on that one.

If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

For reduced loads I use cast bullet data with jacketed bullets (2400). You might find some info that you could use, mostly pistol and shotgun powders.

I use Trailboss and 170 grain 30-30 partition bullets. They have no problem killing pigs at 50 yards.
