Prices have gone up, although I just missed a beauty for $700. I would guess 900 plus. Some people will pay more for 44-40. I have had to have my 44-40 chambers reamed because they were too tight, a common occurrence for these older Vaqueros in 44-40. Better to throw pearls before swine then pour good coffee into the cups of the indifferent.

z1r Campfire Regular Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 2,701 Lakewood, CO	Surprisingly, these did not sell well. They suffered from a .429-30" Bore and .426-7" throats. I got mine recently for $420 with two boxes of ammo. Cheesy grips included! The .45 Colt models are sought after.
