Saw this on Cylinder Stove's site. Might be handy if power went out. I've got a wood burning insert so always have wood on hand. But if no fireplace, this may be helpful if extended power outages. https://www.cylinderstoves.com/window-plate-kit.html

If I did something like that I'd use a couple sheets of Durock on the floor under stove. Maybe a sheet of Durock for flue pipe window sheet too.

It's a good idea, but you can get all those parts at a hardware store and build to suit. Though I'd suggest using a cement board or other non-flammable sheet rather than plywood, at least for the floor covering, otherwise you may burn the house down, as plywood is great kindling.

There's a 20" gas range in the pickup box now.
For 30, to 40 dollars you can buy a heater that goes on a propane tank, I think you could cook on it.

No worries, have a Bryant forced air wood burning furnace and enough wood to make it for a couple of years, fireplaces, and two nearly full LP tanks that can provide electricity to power the furnaces for a long time

To protect the floor, get a fire mat. They're pretty cheap. This one is 48" across and costs $30 on Amazon.

Sadly, folks get desperate when cold hits…
Like using a BBQ grill inside.
Or space heaters on cheap ass extension cords.

I had boiler issues the last few days which made my radiant heating a no go, and 10 degree temps. My zero clearance fireplace saved the day for sure.
