Damn, I didn't read about that in the Frontiersman.

Not a big deal so far.
How tall are you?

This is Roy D Mercer, just how big a boy are you?

You ain’t a big enough boy to cart 225.

You’ll feel better.
Depends on muscle mass. BMI is antiquated.
True, for sure.

But…I don’t think Ive known anyone @ 6-1, 225 that didn’t carry extra.

Lifters etc aside.

Who doesn't lift weights?
Probably most Americans.

I'm sure you've seen them. wink

An easy way to drop 5 or 10 pounds in a week or two is to catch COVID. At least it worked for me.

I don't have any to lose- 6', 150#

The wiener dog is going on a diet tho. I don't care how much he begs, he isn't getting any more of my nightly ice cream. He can share the bowl lick with the bigger dog tho.

I need another abdominal operation to correct an incisional hernia. Doc says lose 50/60 more lbs and then have it done. So. Yep I’m working those lbs off.
I hope to have it off and the surgery done and recovered by next November. Tall order.

Diet and exercise is the best combination. Doesn't take a lot of exercise. You'd be surprised if you just change your habits a little.

At the recommendation of my family Doctor, I started intermittent fasting In July. Down about 20lbs (225 now). My A1c dropped from 7.3 to 6.4 by December 9th. I’m gonna just keep doing this and see what happens. 210 is about as light as I want to be. My eating window is 12 noon to 8pm. After that a 16 hour fast. Nothing but. Water and black coffee during the fasting period. Takes some discipline, but I’m a pretty disciplined person.

I decided to get serious about weight loss right before Thanksgiving. Cut out most carbs, no sugar no salt, read ingredients, don’t eat anything with more than a real low percentage of daily salt allowance, small quantities of everything…have dropped 20 pounds so far and blood pressure down from average of 139/71 to 120/60. Ankle and foot swelling is down to nothing, many things feeling better…getting back into clothes I couldn’t wear for a while

Diets always fail.
Lifestyle changes don't.
I was 70 lbs overweight, depressed and near death with diabetes, depression, high blood pressure and cholesterol.
I was toxic, angry, depressed and miserable.
Screw that.
Food can be your friend or your enemy.
Because it tastes good doesn't mean you should eat it.
I adopted a low carb lifestyle and it saved my life.
Stripped that weight off forever.
My life changed forever.
I can't stress enough how important it is to eat right.
It almost killed me.

Thank you.
If I can help one of you guys improve your life I will.
Read labels.
Avoid carbohydrates like the devil.
You can't even imagine the difference it will make in your life.
