Still above zero here, but been hitting single digits. And this afternoon the snow and winds start. Our wind chill will probably be 20 or 30 below.

About 30° here, but it's supposed to be down below 0 tomorrow evening and stay there through Saturday afternoon.
Once the wind settles down Friday/Saturday I'll be out fishing. Ponds have been iced over since Sunday here, but not quite ready to fish yet since it's just been hovering around freezing the past couple days.
Snowed and blowed last night. May have to stay in the hospital another day. Hoback Canyon between here and home may be impassable. High today is predicted to be 26, low tonight minus 15, high tomorrow one, low minus 17. Glad we don't have Minn. weather. Used to live near Lightfoot. All that nice weather got boring.

When I get bored I start looking at the auctions. One on proxibid has an 1899 H in 300 in 95 % condition. It has scope mounts on top of the receiver, the stock is hacked off with a big old recoil pad on it, and two nails in the stock. I didn't even look at the pics to see if it IS an H. I wonder if those two nails are engraved by Tue? I need 3-4 more beers before I can look at any more auctions. The 300 wasn't even around then?
Lows at night in mid 30's, high's daytime mid-upper 40's - until this weekend when the temps drop to mid-teens with high's mid-20's (which is utterly too cold for me, I don't see how y'all can stand that stuff in the minus column).
I figured that when Joe showed up here today not wearing his usual uniform of shorts and Crocs it was a sign of cold weather coming. Kind of like seeing extra fur on raccoons or something. We did go out and about in just our shirtsleeves.

Ponds just froze up around here Sunday. Ice is still only 2-2.5" right now.
I'm on the very tail end of the ice belt, so this is a pretty early freeze up. It'll probably all melt off in the next week or two. It's supposed to be below 0 from tomorrow night-Saturday, so it will be in good shape soon as long as the snow doesn't get too crazy tomorrow.
Our ice is real unpredictable year to year being this far south, but we're "usually" frozen up mid-Jan to mid-Feb. My gear doesn't get used as long per year as when I was in MN, but I probably actually use it more now than I did then, because I try to get out every day we have ice.
