I am searching for proven loads for this particular bullet,available powders are
H380
H4350
H4895
IMR 4064
Varget
Any help would be appreciated,have a few manuals and they seem to contradict each other

For me? No question, 38 grain IMR 4064 for a 100 gr bullet of any make...

Hodgdon site shows it gives up a couple hundred fps to H4350. If you're content with that, try it.

Try up to 40 grains of H 380. It'll work just fine. I only use a Large rifle primer, no magnum primer needed.

Source, Steve's Pages. I'm in the minority that likes H 380. Its accurate in the 243, at least in the ones I've had.

I'm not sure it gives up much velocity to H 4350 max load... but if it does give up a couple hundred fps MV...
Then set your scope elevation up two clicks, and to say 250 yrds or so.. It should put you onto the same POI.

People complain about H 380 in real hot weather, so back it off a grain or two...or do like I do. don't use it when its 100 degrees outside.

All my .243 are 1X8 twist, so i like the 105gr. 107.gr. 108 gr. but do shoot 100 gr. SGK and I have a bunch of R-26 i'm wanting to use in my .243s and 6 CM, got any loads using R-26 Rio7

H4350 has always been a standard .243 powder.
