Any time that you have a hammer involved, you will have a longer trigger action. I had a BLR and had the trigger worked on. It was ok, but you will never get them to feel like a bolt rifle. They just take some getting used to. I liked mine.


You did not "seen" anything, you "saw" it.
A "creek" has water in it, a "crick" is what you get in your neck.

I have been looking into a BLR. In research I found that out of the box trigger was 5 1/2# and creep was there. The author actually preferred the Henry Long Ranger so far as better trigger. 4 1/2#.
I am keeping an eye on this thread in case I pick one up.
