In 1955 I turned 16 and My parents gifted me with the rifle of my choice a Model 64 Winchester in 32 Special. The fit and hang were perfect for me. Sure did shoot a pile of Whitetail with it. It was stolen from me in Potsdam NY years later.

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. --Winston Churchill

So how I overlooked this post…..so here we go,
Not a rifle…..well part of it was! 😁 A Stevens 22/410 that my Dad won on a “punch board” game right after he came home from WWII. Killed my first deer with a 410 slug (pure luck) 10 days after my 11th Birthday. memtb
