“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”

God's Will is exactly what it will be.

Read John 14 for inspiration, and the reminder of the promise He made to believers. This world is not eternal. The love of God is.

It’s obvious that “using your vote” and going to the polls is useless and I believe it always has been for the most part. I’ve heard about “change” and “revolution” my entire life, it was even talked about in countless songs from the 60’s. Here we are damn near 60 years later. Is this the change that everyone was hoping for?

The future of the U.S. looks incredibly bleak right now and has for quite a while. Absolutely nothing is heading in the right direction. Even though I know there is no real hope for a correction, I try to find an angle to see something positive. It is delusional. There is nothing good coming.

Our side blatantly thumbs their noses at us. We have no voice. All the issues we know are killing this country are completely ignored, not just by the left, but by "our side" too. In fact, "our side" is really just there side. We are overwhelmed by the socialist media, academia, politics, celebrity, government agencies corruption, tech, ...everything, pushing us away from the principals that made America strong. Old school values are ridiculed as "unwoke". The things we held as ideals are crushed as antiquated standards of days long past.

For me, this reality is almost impossible to bear. It sucks the drive out of me. It is crushing my spirit. It is against everything I believe. I have this overwhelming desire to kick some ass. Not the way I want to live my last years. I am having a really hard time thinking this is a reality I have to accept.
Thanks for sharing this; many, many of us are feeling exactly the same way. We are legion across the country.

They've really done a number on us and the fact that they have the FB I and other law enforcement entities in their pockets now is probably the most demoralizing thing. There are men still in solitary 2 years now for the farce that was Jan 6th. If that meeting were ANTIFA (some were) those trespassers would be heroes in many locales.
Not much hope left and that's the god's honest truth.

We kiss the ground here in remote Idaho, not too many places left to run.

What Diesel, Redneck, & Manlicher said. I think there is never going to be any redemption/recovery. That would mean armed rebellion and ridding the country of the illegals, and securing our borders. Ain't gonna happen, any of it. Or if so, it will fail.

An article I read this morning said that the US pop increased by just over a million people last year, nearly all from "immigrations".

BS- it was a lot more than that. They are either lying, or haven't a clue, or both.

We are already into the resource/supply line deficit, and it will only increase.

Climate change, you know....

I certainly sympathize with you. These dark feelings overwhelm us all, those of us old enough to remember especially. My wife just commented about hating to read the news. This Zelensky pageant in his GI Jo costume? $1,7 Trillion Omnibus Bill even Repubs voted for? You are right; we do not have representation. Our voice is silenced by Tech/FBI, and fraudulent elections keep our most hopeful leaders out of office. Our biggest problem is growing up believing in a lot of lofty, patriotic ideals that have become pure drivel, if not derided outright. The great American vision is no longer taught in "schools." My kids are smart, but so indifferent and clueless as to how precarious their future really is. It helps to believe you live beneath uncoronated kings with absolute life and death power over you. That is closer to reality. Things fall apart. That might be our last and only hope. In the meantime strengthen and insulate you and yours as much as possible against what is coming, higher prices, more corruption and overbearing government. And take care of your moods with extra Folate, exercise, and fresh air. This too shall pass...

I see this as the natural progression of a society. They have always prospered, then died. We have done the most within the least time, and also helped more people over the world than any other. There is no changing human nature. It will always have zeros, those that have evil intent, crave power and have the support of the "useful idiots" who have no real intelligence. The internal rot will continue until enough of us have had too much. Jan 6 was an indication of what is coming, although it will be years until something revolutionary happens. I am of the mind of saying "if there is to be violence, let it come in my time, so that my children can live in peace. Unfortunately, it will be too late for me to assist in the change that is needed. I see no chance, due to what I have seen in history, of returning us to a free state without violence. There are too many sheep who will never understand that gov't isn't good.

And when these things begin to happen, look up, lift up your head, for your redemption draweth nigh.

No the window of opportunity for moving down there and living a decent life as an ExPat has closed. We’re still in the best place to live by all indicators.

For us older folks (50's +) we have been thrown into the boiling pot, for our kids, Grand Kids and great GK's It's just a comfortable bath. we are free range slaves, they won't even realize that they lost freedoms they can't even imagine.
I suffer the same hopelessness as the rest of you...I wish this fuse would just come to its end and this mother F:cker would just blow up!....I fear that by the time everyone is hungry enough to start fighting, we will be digging up antiquated firearms long buried in the back yard.

Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth.

Diesel I am with you sick to my stomach. The Rinos threw us under the bus again. I’m old and my race is about over but, I hate to say our grandkids won’t know what freedom is or even care. Waiting for the government to take everything we have just like Greece did. Remember my neighbor crying because they took his dad savings all for the government.

Here is another nail in America's coffin. It ain't gonna change, either.

It pays NOT to work.

It'd be easier to quit caring about the country and start caring for ourselves ONLY.

Hint.

I agree 💯%. By the time enough patriots get pissed off and join together to take back this country it will all be too late! We are just the unfortunate bastàrds with a front row seat watching the destruction of these United States literally before our eyes!
