Any experience with the P3L illuminated mildot FFP reticle in the Klassik series? Curious how it performs in low light and using the dots for hold overs? Looking on paper I wish the dots were a little closer and sometimes FFP isn’t as bold at lower powers/low light

I have a 3-12x42 mounted on my Sako 300 win mag… at 3x it makes a great duplex reticle.. at 6x it becomes mildot friendly. I did have the service department add the external elevation cap. Provides for 3.5 mils elevation over a 200 yard zero.

I use a couple of them. One has the BDC dial that rgrx1276 mentioned. I need to send the second one in to have it added. I really like the P3L reticle. As mentioned, it's a nice duplex at low powers and details show up as mag increases. I like that only the inner plex is illuminated...would prefer only a dot but it's much better than having the entire mildot area illuminated. The illumination is low enough that it doesn't wash out the image in low light. It's a well designed FFP hunting reticle in a good scope package.

Agree with Jay's comments above. I have the 3-12x50 with P3L reticle and it's great for deer hunting.
