Is it foam filled like the hunter stock? If so it could be "lightened" more with the butt stock foam removal?

Just a guess but it could very well affect the strength or flexibility of the stock . Question why would you want a lighter one ?

No.

The 84m/l blind mag stocks (Adirondack/Montana/MA, all the same stock) have a light fill foam with a glue on butt pad that is not removable.

Hunter stocks don’t have foam inside. They have a two part, 8oz rubber weight inside that can be removed by taking off the screw-on butt pad and removing the grip cap. The rubber will come out in two pieces.

Well, I didn’t know that. They’ll be close to Montana weight after removal, huh?

Nothing; they are actually pretty good stocks.

Most of the montana stocks I’ve weighed are heavy. 8400 being larger and near 30 oz. 84m while physically smaller aren’t much lighter. My experience.

I don’t have one but a lot of folks hate integrated trigger guards by default.
