A couple years ago I picked up a very lightly used Model Four in 6mm Remington. The original owner said he put 14 rounds through it, he was an older gentlemen and stated a 30/30 did all he needed. I scoped it, 6 shots had it ready to hunt with better than anticipated accuracy. And.....it sat, never packed this rifle, pulled scope a month ago. It’s in to good of shape for me to beat an bang it up.
I’ve been wanting a 760/7600 in 35 Remington for a couple years and have yet to find one. I’ve got a CVA in 35 Remington and just love the caliber, especially for how I hunt.
My question; Would I better off selling the 6mm Remington (don’t know what they bring now) or patiently waiting and hoping someone will have the elusive 35 and be interested in trading.

Sell. The odds of two unicorns coming together are very low.

I agree. Interested on price if you decide to sell it.

My cousin bought a 742 in 6mm couple years ago for around $800. It did have a leupold vx2 on it. Never seen a model 4 in 6mm but around me a lot of 742 in 244 or 6mm are around. Not many come up dor sale as people tend to hang on to them. Still kick my self for not buying a rem 760 in 35 rem per covid for $400.

I’d lay flat on my back and pee straight up in the air if I walked up on that deal.
