For me its a toss up of either "It's a Wonderful Life" or "NL Christmas Vacation" The wife likes "The Santa Clause with Tim Allen" and The first two Home Alones The kiddos like the Home Alone as well and "The Star"

Only one??? There’s probably a dozen that are holiday favorites. It a Wonderful Life NL Christmas Vacation Scrooged Miracle On 34th Street It Happened On 5th Avenue Pocketful Of Miracles Donavans Reef Either or telling of Scrooge, and the Muppets version too. Probably a couple others that are escaping my mind! Not to mention the kids shows on TV Frosty The Snowman Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer Charlie Browns Christmas And my biggest favorite, The Grinch The Old classics from the 60s. I’m not a fan of the remakes. I remember how even after we had grown up, we’d be out in the garage working on something, and Mom would call on the phone to tell us “such & such” is coming on TV. We’d drop everything to go in and watch it with the whole Family. It always made me happy, and I know Mom loved that we watched with her. Like I said many times before, I wouldn’t trade my life for that of a prince! One other thing, just because the movie happens on Christmas, doesn’t mean it’s a Christmas Movie! “Die Hard” and Lethal Weapon” are not Christmas movies! They’re Action Movies which take place on Christmas. For Crying out loud, a freakin guy shouldn’t have to explain this! 7mm

There was a Christmas scene in both One and Two, but The Godfather movies are not exactly Christmas movies. Great flicks, though, so any excuse is good.
Can't say for sure but my guess is "The Three Godfathers" movie JamesJr is talking about is this one, not the "Godfather" mafia movie and it's two sequels...
Another favorite, but I can’t remember Christmas being part of the plot! Did it take place around Christmas or something? I honestly cannot remember that it happened on Christmas. 7mm

I always watch Rudolf and Frosty. Didn't see Charlie Brown this year as it's only on Apple tv.
Really? That’s something that had always aggravated me, when big broadcasting bought the rights to, what I consider Christmas Classics! When I was a kid, before cable, the big 3 would show Frosty, Rudolph, the Grinch, Little Drummer Boy And the others during the Christmas season I seem to remember that nobody “owned” these shows, and each of ABC, NBC & CBS each showed these stories at different times, sometimes more than once. Like I said, we knew when they were gonna be on, and planned ahead to watch as a family. It was always, to me, one of the highlights of the season. 7mm

TRH, I don't what to say about anyone who would confuse a John Wayne movie with something else.

LOL. Oh, well, you see, there were three movies in the Godfather Trilogy, and I assumed that's what you were referring to. I didn't know John Wayne made a movie called The Three Godfathers.

And you call yourself a 24hr Campfire member? Holy smokes, I thought that being a Duke fan, and a basic knowledge of his movies was one of the requirements for joining! It’s a great movie, but then, I guess that applies to any movie with Duke and John Ford. 7mm

There are three movies called The Three Godfathers, there are two versions earlier than the John Wayne version and they all have a slightly different take to them. If you run across either of the earlier ones take a look at them, they are both good in their own way.
