Interesting thread in the varmint section using TAC and 223 heavies. I have had great luck with Varget and RL15 with 95 Bergers in my 6/45(6/223) but thinking I want to speed things up for coyote calling. Should be safe to use TAC data for 75 grain bullets in a 223 as a starting point? Seems like it would be but open to suggestions here in the wildcat forum. Thanks

It should be fine. Same case capacity, same powder, same bullet weight but larger diameter = lower pressure.

That's what I figured but like a second or even third opinion. I'll start low and work up with it obviously. Bought 8 pounds of TAC cheap and looking to use it.

Tac worked well in my 6x45. I sold the rifle but ill look through my notes.

As I recall, tac worked great with 70 to 90 ish grain bullets, Leverevolution was a lot better with 105s which is what I mostly shot

Got some info from Dude270 and sent some over the chrono today. The 18" barreled 6/223 was getting 2930 fps with the 75 vmax. Primers look very good. Going to measure cases to be safe. If all looks good, may load up some to test for accuracy at that range. I think I have room to run though still if I need to.

Seating at 2.34 which is just off the lands. Super fun gun to shoot suppressed. These are strictly coyote loads as I plan on using my 95 vlds for game.

Is that a bad idea? Primers looked great, bolt lift was easy. Calipers say cases all measure the same from 25.2 grains to 26.6. Just don't want any surprises so trying to check all boxes. Hoping to get some accuracy results soon. That bullet doing 2930 fps should be exceptional on called coyotes.

Edit: after further searching, it would appear that I am pretty much at max. I'll just tweak for accuracy now.
