S&W M16 32 H&R. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen one in person, though I had an identical 4" .22 LR at one point. Really cool revolver.

I’ve got a 6” that I really like but I could probably let it go for that kind of dough.

What mold do you like for your’s HawkI? I generally use the RCBS 98SWC and it’s OK. The little Lee 90gr SWC that looks like a Crayola crayon tip is a surprisingly accurate little bullet that works great on grouse and rabbit even though it’s in a cheap crappy mold.

I’d like to get something with a bigger flat nose but I’m on the fence about ordering something custom or just finding a Lyman 3118.

I’ve never really hotrodded mine, never shot anything bigger than a turkey or coyote with it and 1050fps has worked fine for them. But I’ve entertained the thought of shooting a deer or pig or two with a 100-115 grainer going 1200 or more.

KId,

I have two favs.

An LBT FN 115 GC and an easier mass production bullet for a caster, a NOE 115 Keith from this exact mold:
NOE Brass 118

I
For these guns size/get a bullet that runs .314.

The 32 H&R, even when not leaned on with these weight bullets will get you trajectory at 100 yards you won't believe without the noise, racket and recoil of anything bigger. It truly is a rifle like pop gun, not unlike a .22 for ease of hits.
Very underrated as the next step as a trainer. I think a 38 doesn't shoot flat enough unless in a long barrel/heavy bullet and the 357 or hot 38 is a bit too much.

Never saw anyone NOT enjoy an ammo can full of 32's!

I need to go on a hog trip; I've entertained the exact same thing.

Saw a guy shooting IHMSA field pistol with one back in the day. Saw a couple at local sportsmans club too.

But that was years ago
