Went to see a friend today and he loaned me a Twig Spitfire to shoot some. It's 62" 55#. I found it to be really nice to shoot and interesting that the limbs mount on the rear of the riser instead of the front. Fast flite string and shooting 400 spine carbons off the shelf. Anyone have any hands-on experience with this bow? TIA

Never heard of them but a google search looks like it's a Chinese bow like the black hunter or Samick. That doesn't mean they are not a good bow. I'd be interested in your review.
FWIW having the limbs mount to the back of the riser isn't anything new. Black Widow has been doing it for near 50 years and there are others too.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

It shoots pretty good. It's surprisingly quiet. I'm shooting XX75 2117's in it with a 125gr. field point. They fly as good as I can shoot. Right now, that means not missing the target LOL. I'm keeping it to 20 yards and under. I used /shot a Pearson Spoiler @ 93 lbs. with a 5" overdraw and a Keller pendulum sight back in the day. It's a wonder it didn't explode in my face as my arrows (XX75 2213's) only weighed 411 grains. Got to give props to Pearson for that. I can't even start it today let alone pull it and break it over. I shot that bow for several years in the early to mid 1990's. Ah to be 30 again...

I think its just like black Hunter as stated. They shoot really well. Have a few still. Usually pick it up over other bows.
