So, my Crooked Horn Bino System has nearly lost all its elasticity. I've replaced the plastic bino snaps at least 3 times over the years (Crooked Horn was always great to send new ones). I got this harness close to 25 years ago......not too long after they were introduced. I got my money's worth.

I have no idea or experience with any of the other harnesses out there.

Opinions and suggestions for a harness where the binos (Nikon 10x42's at the moment) are carried a lot and used a little ??

Replaced my Crooked Horn with another from them.

Good as it gets. First one lasted 21 years carrying 8x50s and 10x50s.

I have the Stony Point harness, love it. Much more compact than most harnesses.

Seems to be some confusion as to whether they are still in business....... 🤔

The Vortex harness LOOKS like a Crooked Horn. But having trouble finding one branded Crooked Horn.

I like my Rick young harness. It holds just the binoculars. I've tried others that are a harness with a case and they feel too bulky for me. I carry my firearms in the crook of my arm a lot and any case harness I've tried gets in the way.

I'm a BIG fan of my Rick Young bino harness especially in the heat of early archery season.

I make my own just like Rick Young’s. Parts are cheap and readily available. I like them so much better than the Crooked Horn - we hunt the windy country, and vibrating straps in the wind drive me crazy! I bet I’ve made 20-30 harness for family and friends for next to nothing.

Ricky Young gives a lot of options about how you want to carry…

Marsupial works for me. Plenty of different harnesses for different wants and needs to research and decide.

I've done this too. I haven't made any for a couple years but back then they came out to about half the cost of the RY for me.

If you want to stay with that style and are looking at options, OP/TECH USA sells them too.

As other's mentioned, I really like the Rick Young. Simple, compact, light, allows the use of something like a HPG kit bag under it, can easily change the height/tension of carry, adjusting the tension can help stabilize the bino's while using freehand, easy to add/remove layers (if they are zippered). Everyone has different preferences but for me the RY's are "it".

Same here.

And if you need a cover, they've got some options too. The ultralight tucks into a tiny pouch that connects to the harness.

For some reason the Badlands don’t get much ink. I love mine.
