They run about the same as Ontario I have personally shot a 360 which is my best to date several 280-300 and a couple of smaller ones that were no braggers. I was in camp a few years ago and a guy from Pennsylvania shot a 430, a beauty. Then there is the guys that blast the first bear they see and go home with a 100 pounder. If they are happy with that then so be it. So how big will a typical 300lb bear stretch out to? 6'? In my country a true 300lbr skin will go 6’4” nose to tail give or take over the beam. Osky

I'm going in June 2023. I look forward to the 3 day drive and the 6 day hunt with my son. At 11 y/o he will be the youngest bear hunter in our extended family. I can't wait to see his face when the first bear walks up to the bait.
