I've got two.........I like them. One on a Turkey 12ga and one on my Kids Savage Rascal 22lr.
I've never had any trouble. "Google" speaks highly of them.

Nothing fancy
No magnification but works well and dependable Most come with a base for higher AR mounting You can take that off for the 10/22 Should work well for that

Had one on one of my .22 rifles. Worked great and had no problems with it. Fun for plinking.

I've got one that's been on a 10-22 and is now on a mini 14. It's the only red dot sight I've ever used so got nothing else to compare it to but it's easy to sight in and has worked well on both. A lot of fun on a 10-22 and a good value IMO.

Have one on a Ruger 22/45 pistol. Reliable, dot size good for 25 yard bullseye shooting. Like it.

I have one on my M&P 1522. Works perfectly. Adjustments are right on . Point of impact never moves around.

I have a new trs 26. Like the sight just fine, but I’m not fond of how high this type sight sits, so I’m going to sell my trs 26. I have it in the classified if interested I’ll make you a deal.

Midway had the Vortex sparc 2 for $109 a month ago. You'll get a lot better red dot for a few more bucks.

I've got one on a dedicated turkey gun.
I'd originally purchased thinking I'd give a red dot a whirl, and if I liked it, upgrade to a "better" unit thereafter. Well, 5 years later, it's still on the gun, hasn't let me down and POI has never shifted.

Looks like they sell one now with a lower mount, but ones like your are still out there. Midway had the Vortex sparc 2 for $109 a month ago. You'll get a lot better red dot for a few more bucks. I have two Sparc 2s. They have a sharp 2moa dot and are well-regarded and tough, but one of mine is a replacement after one crapped from about ten .357 mag loads in a revolver. Vortex replaced it promptly of course, though at that time they were no longer cataloged. Looks like they’re back. Mine are both on rifles, old Mausers with mounting issues caused by 1950-1960 scope mounting practices. They work very well to at least 100 yards. They are constructed for harsh use, not “consumer grade”. The bad one’s emitter came loose, an obvious manufacturing whoopsie, not a design weakness IMO. Just ordered a Romeo 5 after reading a bunch of glowing recommendations here. We shall see. I also have a TRS 25, purchased for my Victory, but currently idle after I installed a dedicated FF3 mount on the Smith. Worked okay, but for my eyes the FF3 has a sharper dot. Sample of one, of course.
What fresh Hell is this?

I used a TRS 25 for 10 years on one of my Ruger mk 2 pistols. It has worked great. No complaints, but recently upgraded to a fastfire 3, for quicker target acquisition and reduced weight and size. I’ve been thinking about trying the TRS 25 on an AR, but as of right now, it is not being used. It’s been a great red dot though
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

A lot of fun on a 10-22 and a good value IMO. Do you have an approximate round count while on the Mini 14? I’m always on the lookout for good sight options for mine. They can be tough rides for optics. The PA Cyclops has stood the test, but isn’t the best for precise shot placement under all conditions.

I've got a handful of them. They are good but my only complaint is that the red dot is not too bright in bright sunlight

Have had two TRS25. No issues. But they are old tech. Id pony the diff and get a Romeo 5. That reportedly the current gold standard on affordable RDS. On a rifle w optic closer to eye, I like the Primary Arms Gen 2 Cyclops 1x. It has eye relief, is a prism scope and the adjust for zero aren't very fine (think half MOA). Battery fails, reticle is etched on glass, still usable. Illumination is great as is reticle. Got one and zeroed fine, but noticed it didn't line up w iron sights which were perfect and the rear was dead center windage. Moved to diff rifle and the optic was still zeroed, but also slightly to the right. Yanked sights but can see forend top rail in edge, and reticle to right slightly. Sent that back today, see if they fix or replace or just send it back w "no problem found". It works great, just is offset slightly. Flipping base and risers didn't change it. Moving DD irons from one rifle to another, stayed zeroed. And moving optic from one to another, also stayed zeroed, but off to the right on both. So rifles are fine, irons are fine, something w the optic. $300 bucks. If they fix or replace and it lines up, I'd call it a good optic for 300. If it still aint right, then am done w prism or PA and will just run a Sig Romeo 5, buy one for each rifle. The PA G2 cyclops 1X was entirely usable from the get go, just a visibly annoying offset. Am done tolerating "close enough" and am going through each rig and making them perfect. Can't find an Aimpoint Duty in stock
