Have a Voere Mauser action that I will be building on and would like recommendations for a semi inletted stock vendor. Have found U.S. Gun Inletting & Stocks and not much else. Type of stock I have in mind is a straight comb Sporter without a cheek piece. Thanks

Here are a couple of other links. Fair warning, I haven't purchased from either, but just have their links saved. Manitou claims to offer all of the old Fajen patterns. https://manitoucustomguns.comhttp://www.gunstockduplicating.com/duplication.htmlUS Gun sells a bunch on eBay. A lot of sapwood in their blanks from what I can see. If using them for duplication, I would suggest selecting your own wood.

Call Jesse Grove at custom rifle stocks in Aaronsburg PA. I’ve had him do several stocks, two bolt actions and a Ruger single shot.

Manitou Custom guns has most of the old Fajen equipment and stock patterns so they should be able to turn out a stock of any style to fit your action as long as it isn't some long discontinued relic. Their stocks are usually pretty well sanded and ready for finish other than some very minor inletting at times from what I've seen...
Never underestimate your ability to overestimate your ability.
