Having used 3 grooves there is no chance I would go that route again.

Just to add I will probably never go Pac-Nor again either

What twist and groove count would you use. 3 groove, 5 groove or Polygonal for use with up to 105 grain bullets?

This will be my first Pac-Nor

Thanks

I use a Shilen 8 twist ratchet. If I want a larger bullet I go to a larger cartridge. 80s are large enough for a 6.

BuchLambert1, I respectfully disagree, 80 gr. is not big enough, my 1x8 twist barrels do very well with 105--107-- 108--110--112 gr. Bullets, and i am not a paper puncher, at least anymore than i need to be. Rio7

I’m using a 7.5 twist and it shoots 105 gr hybrids very well.

Another 7.5 Bartlein 5R that shoots 105 Hybrids extremely well.

Mine's in a 26" 6MM SLR, so a little more speed over a 6C.

7.5 shoots the 115 DTACs well. Can't imagine needing anything tighter.

My two have 7 twist.
One loves 95 grain Tipped MKs, the other, 115 Bergers. Birth shoot 105s fine.
