Sounds like a winner.
Looks like you can buy direct from Howa.... Getting the itch. Hard to decide between a Barreled Action and ready to blast rifle... You can get "second" Carbon Fiber stocks for the mini from Stocky's for $299.00. They're nice stocks. I couldn't find even a cosmetic flaw on mine.

The new carbon fiber stock on my 6.5 Grendel mini has a pile of flaws. I bought it new straight from Legacy Sports.

I have a Remington 700 in 6x45 that I’d like to convert to 6ARC.
Is that feasible? If so, what would be involved, beside the chamber? you could get a Savage 110 at Sportsman's Whorehouse for like $585.. I'd bet you'd spend that, getting your Remington 700 set all up for the round.. plus you would probably get a discount at Sportsman if you are ex military etc...
