I think your lower end range is appropriate depending on functioniality, bore condition, etc.

Around here in that condition guys tend to ask a lot, but they seem to actually sell in the range of what Hammer posted.
Good luck

Just for an extra data point, I just bought a 1956 model 94 in much better cosmetic condition than this one, with a case that I sold for $50 for $700, so $650 for the rifle. It was a private sale nothing like Gunbroker.

No worries, I don't have to sell it and have a good bit into it , closer to the lower end of what I thought the price point would be. Just the history alone says I should keep it !

I JUST Got back from the grocery store,
one dozen eggs--$5.89
two bags noodles--$8.00
three donuts--$3.75

Total $17.64 about 2 years ago--cost about $7.00

Guns are worth a lot more than you guys think! A lot of you Guys are still in the ICE AGES.

I bought one from 1951, in better shape than that one, about six months ago for $600. It was a local sale, but not from anyone I knew. On GB, who knows what it would bring.

I'm in a similar situation. Pre-64, Model 94 30-30, 1950. Honest wear. Been in my family since the 60s.

$650-$700 is the ballpark I was given by a collector/appraiser/auction researcher friend. Excellent would be $800+ and Trappers bring a premium. He hasn't been as active at the shows/auctions, but this is what he's thinking is reasonable.

EDIT: just saw damnesia's post above and mine is cleaner than the OP as well. No pitting, etc., bluing is good. Couple screws were buggered, I'm sure prior to my dad owning it. Time to move it along with some others.

These threads are worthless, Its only worth what someone will pay. Post it up with a high number and then lower it until it sells. There, that's what it was worth.

Funny you write that. I was just thinking, list a gun for $800 OBO. Then folks can PM with their offer. Is that against any forum regs?

An auction site might bring allot.

I would be tempted at $450.

At $650 I wouldn't take the time to pick it up off the shelf.

But that's just me.

I just sold a 1954 model 94 in 32 Special for $500.00. It seems to me that everyone who wanted a 94 got one and now wants an AR. I hope the market for classic lever guns comes back.

Well , think I'm gonna put this one back in thr safe . I wouldn't sell itfor anywhere close to what is being suggested . I just sold a post 64 for more than the "suggestions " I'm getting here and both are in the 75%-80% range. It's all good , as before , I don't need to sell it . Probably better to keep it anyway. Shoots straight and whitetail don't like it !

Good buy for a 32 special. They bring more than 30-30 chambered rifles around here.

OP post it at the low end of your asking price and reduce it as you see fit or go to GunBroker and let the market dictate it's value.
