I’ve wondered about them too. I tend to do a LOT of dry fire practice while watching a movie every night and thought that system would be another step up in off time practice. 👍🏼
Dry fire practice and trigger mechanics is invaluable training imo and it’s not encouraged or practiced enough.
They are really cool, when you look at the firearm mechanics of it:
Remove mag, making sure your handgun is 100% clear.
Insert the laserbeam cartridge, manually with your fingers (flip the handgun upside down if need be).
Seat it into the chamber and hit the slide release.
1911's... Rugers... S&W's... ANYTHING with an external hammer --- Cock the hammer each time and take aim and fire.
Glock's... Sig Sauer... (and Ruger and S&W) that are Striker Fired --- Just simply take aim and fire.
When you are done. Just take a pencil and stick it (eraser end) through the barrel. Then push out the laserbeam cartridge back out through the chamber where it will gently drop onto the table.
