(asked this on the rimfire section as well): Working on a Remington 5mm Model 592M. Bolt handle has been broken off at the base. Are these handles threaded into the bolt body? Didn't want to go in there with an easy-out if they are braised or tack-welded.
I have located a 581 bolt body w/handle and will purchase it for the handle if threaded for an easy fix.

the bolt handle and trigger hanger is the weak link on a 788, and the 500 seires rifles, the bolt handle needs to be tig welded back on, it's a easy fix, done alot of these over the years on 788 and 580 and 590 rifles
I have Ctually drilled and tapped the bolt, made a new threaded bolt then silver soldered it in. Reason for that is there isn't a lot of meat so this really locked it in. Maybe if I can find pics I will put them on.
